What Are Phone Cases Made Of?

Our phone cases are made of two materials that work together: a clear polycarbonate back and TPU sides. Here's what each part does and how the design gets onto the case.

Polycarbonate: the clear back

The back of the case is polycarbonate. It's transparent, so your phone shows through, and it carries the printed design.

TPU: the sides

The sides are TPU. Together with the polycarbonate back, the material is shock absorbing and scratch resistant, while the case keeps a slim, lightweight form with smooth edges.

Is polycarbonate good for phone cases? And TPU?

For our clear cases, the combination gives a transparent back for the design and sides that absorb shocks, in a slim form that supports wireless charging and has precise cut-outs for connectivity.

How the design is printed

Designs are printed with dye sublimation. This method gives a smooth finish, high color vibrancy and prints that don't fade.
